How my passion for photography was born
In 1967 during a picnic we had a photograph contest.
Still young at that time, I didn’t have a camera and had to borrow one from a friend.
They all had prepared a scenario, a model, a camera etc.…and me I was a novice but curious and had a lot of questions in my head.
So I pulled out with a friend and organized my scenario.
The following weekend we voted for the best photo and I won the contest.
To my surprise my picture was selected and I told myself: “Go ahead! Get into photography!” Unfortunately I never found this first picture.
It became my passion and my hobby for more than ten years, and I also did the developing.
I spent hours in the darkroom to see in the developer the birth of these photos presented here.
To take care of ones picture…to see the birth of a photo, can be something wonderful, full of surprises and it is no longer the case today with the digital images.
It would gradually come into light trough the developer and that is the moment of happiness, enjoyment but at the same time worry.
A series has been worked by digital processing to show the evolution of technology, but undoubtedly, the original one shows their birth, and a photographical work that almost doesn’t exist anymore.
Now, I would like to get back to this passion that I haven’t performed since many years.
